Bluefin Tuna Fishing Trips

Be among the first to catch this iconic fish in the wilds of the Outer Hebrides!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take part in a Scottish scientific Bluefin Tuna catch/tag/release programme. We are seeking anglers to take part in this project. Not only will you be one of the first to catch one of the main predator species but you will also be contributing to an important scientific project. Depending on when you are on board your Bluefin Tuna may be tagged with a PSAT tag in conjunction with our team of scientists, outside of that we will be deploying ICCAT FLOY tags, you will be an important part of this programme and will be informed on the future movement of your tuna. All tag and PSAT info will be given to you. Exciting times for the Outer Hebrides and we hope that you can be part of this exciting development.
